Can we count on your help

as we provide for those most in need?

The Bethlehem Center began in 1985 by Sister Ursula and Sister Kenneth. Formerly known as The Good News Center, the operations were renamed in 2011, when Good Shepherd Catholic Parish assumed responsibility.

Hunger in Tulare County is on the rise, with more individuals and families turning to The Bethlehem Center to get help. With food insecurity typically comes impossible trade-offs. In order to put food on the table, low-income families have to sacrifice another basic need that no one should have to live without.

With your support, by year’s end, our food pantry can provide 83,850 individuals with food commodities and serve 62,000 meals for a total of nearly 1,000 tons of food.

Remember that we provide support without judgement or the need to learn about faith. We want to provide a place of refuge and support.

We need your help in two major areas … financial and with any food products that you may have an abundance of.
